Metering, Billing & CRM Caribbean 2012

Do you want to see how the Caribbean's utility companies are developing their AMI, Smart Grid and in some cases Smart Home projects?

Are you interesting in meeting a room full of the Caribbean's energy leaders and networking with project managers?

Do you want to know how Metering, Billing & CRM help address the energy crises as a result of over dependency on oil?

If the answer is yes to the above, then carry on reading...

Whether you are right at the beginning looking at feasibility studies in the Caribbean or further advanced and in the post-implementation phase you will benefit highly from this interactive three day event. There will be key international case studies on advanced Smart Grid deployments. You will also hear keynote presentations from the very developed Utilities markets in the Caribbean such as Bermuda, the Bahamas and the Cayman Islands as well as those right at the beginning of their processes.

Research has confirmed that the Caribbean is crying out for an event addressing Metering, Billing & CRM challenges and my research has shown me that the following topics needs answering now!

  1. How do you stop losing money through grossly inaccurate meter readings?
  2. How do you combat fraud through AMI?
  3. How do you develop a feasibility study and business case for replacing your existing electro mechanical or AMR metering infrastructure with AMI?
  4. What are the various financing models available for AMI?
  5. How do you take the first steps with Smart Grids?
  6. How do you assess the different communication media available for smart metering, such as GSM, WiMAX, mesh, fibre optics, fixed line or develop your own infrastructure?
  7. How do you beat the peak curve by implementing new tariff schemes based on peak and non peak consumption?
  8. How do you improve tariff visibility and communication with your customers?
  9. What is the business case for smart homes?
  10. How do you create a smart prepaid metering infrastructure cost-effectively?

So, if you feel that you could share some insight on the above or there are any topics missing, please get in touch with a proposal, for information on the conference programme contact Nicolaas Loretz, Program Manager. e: nicolaas.loretz@spintelligent.com. If you would like to participate, send an abstract (in English or Spanish) or simply give me a call: 888 559 8017 (USA) | +27 21 700 3555 (Intl).
